A journey into innovation
Founded in 2014, BlueUp has made its first steps in the Bluetooth beacon market for proximity location applications. BlueUp was one of the first companies in the world to create Bluetooth beacons with support for Apple iBeacon protocol (the first beacon with iBeacon technology, Mini, was launched in 2015). In 2017, BlueUp beacons were also certified for full support of Google Eddystone beacons technology.
As the Bluetooth beacon market has evolved over the years towards applications in industry, intralogistics, healthcare, and safety, BlueUp has continuously expanded its portfolio with new Bluetooth devices and with strategic partnerships with leading companies in the IoT sector, as Quuppa and Wirepas.

2020 was a pivotal year for BlueUp: a solid growth associated with the launch of Tracer, an innovative platform for contact-tracing adopted by a large number of national and foreign companies.
This success paved the way for the development and launch of proprietary RTLS platforms, based on Blueooth Low Energy and Wirepas 2.4GHz Mesh. Today, BlueUp is a technological partner able to offer not only devices, but complete hardware and software solutions for localization, monitoring and tracking applications in indoor and outdoor spaces. This result is achieved thanks to a solid team with great experience and technological expertise.
